akathes are hexapod creatures with long, noodly bodies. all six of their paws are completely covered in fur, with no visible pads. their ears are long and point upwards, and their pupils are vertical like a cat's. they have a sort of cere on the base of their snout.

they can walk on two, four, or all six legs. they use their thick tails as counterweights.

akathes can naturally change their sex between male, female, and null. the transition usually takes between a week and a month.
