if you want a full size (800px) image you'll need to do this on a screen that's wider and taller than 800px. i gave up on trying to get canvas to work with svg paths. you can blame shit js library documentation.
note: if you're like me and have everything on your screen scaled up, you should be able to zoom out in your browser to see images in their original size (no blurriness or anything). my scale is 125% and then 80% has that effect, if that helps??
